The word TROPA itself is Filipino slang for your crew, your ride-or-dies, the ones who show up. When the organization came to me, they had the community but none of the visual language to match it. I built their brand from the ground up: logo, color, type, templates, merch, and guidelines, giving TROPA a look that could hold its own on campus and online. In my initial design exploration, I focused on creating a distinct and unique visual identity that was separated from how Filipino organizations are usually designed. However, as time went on, the logomark and brand identity guidelines felt restrictive and inaccessible, especially since my departure as the main Graphic Designer of the organization.
